Run by riders. Selected by an international panel. Vetted by Ireland's Olympic team vet.
Niall has represented Ireland at two Olympic Games, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, as well as a World Equestrian Games and two European Championships, and carried the Irish flag at the opening ceremony in Athens.
He owns and runs Monart Equestrian Centre, founded The Monart Sale in 2010 as Ireland's first select event horse sale, and sits on the selection panel every year.
Every horse in the catalogue is chosen by a panel of four international riders who know what it takes to produce a horse for the top of the sport.
Polly has represented Great Britain at the European Championships and has been placed at numerous five-star events worldwide. She has also sourced horses from all over the world for owners and clients.
Bill has been at the very top of the sport for many years, with several top-ten placings at Badminton and Burghley and a win at Saumur in 2013. He has always been able to find horses that keep him at the top of the sport, which makes him a perfect addition to our panel.
Sue has represented Ireland at the Olympic Games and at World and European Championships, and has ridden at Badminton and Burghley. She competed at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and again in Athens in 2004, where she and Niall were teammates.
Sue went on to manage Ireland's pony, junior and young rider teams, leading several of them to medals at underage championships.
Laura runs the sale office, looking after vendors and buyers from entry right through to sale day and beyond. She makes sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently in the weeks leading up to the sale, throughout the sale itself, and long after the final lot is sold.
Igors is Niall's right-hand man on site. From the temporary stables to the arenas, he makes sure everything is organised, looks right, works properly and is in place for buyers, vendors and everyone at the sale.
Every lot is fully vetted and X-rayed before the sale by a panel of vets headed by Marcus Swail, Ireland's Olympic team vet since 2004.
Marcus is highly respected worldwide in the sport horse industry, giving buyers from overseas real confidence in their purchase.
