For 2026, the Monart Sale is introducing a new two-stage selection format designed to give selected horses more time, care and attention in how they are presented to buyers around the world.
In previous years, video and photography took place on the same day as selection, alongside every horse that attended. This year, we are separating the two into dedicated events.
Selection Days will run as normal across three days. The panel will assess each horse and decisions will be made on the day. For those horses that are selected, dedicated Video & Photo Days will follow immediately later that same week — with our production team focused exclusively on the 100+ horses that have made it through.
This means more time, more care, and a higher quality result for every vendor whose horse is selected — and a stronger, more compelling catalogue for buyers worldwide.
Your Two-Stage Journey
Selection Days
17th, 18th & 19th August
Arrive at your allocated time slot and check in at the office. Present your horse to our internationally recognised panel. You will be informed of the decision on the day.
If your horse is selected, you will arrange your Video & Photo Day slot before you leave.
Payment required on the day of selection.
Video & Photo Days
20th, 21st & 22nd August
Return with your selected horse for a dedicated filming and photography slot. Your horse's video and photographs will form their page in the Monart Sale 2026 catalogue.
Please ensure your horse is turned out to the highest standard — these images and videos will form part of your horse's presentation to buyers around the world.
Vendors travelling more than two hours to Monart have the option to stable their horse overnight after Selection Day. Horses entered on Day 3 (Wednesday 19th August) will be among the first to present on Video & Photo Day 1 (Thursday 20th August).
