Placing a Bid
Bidding on a lot couldn't be easier. Follow the steps below.
Register to Bid
To place a bid you first need an account. Complete the online registration form on the auction site. Register now →
Activate Your Account
We'll email you an activation link. Check your spam or junk folder if it isn't in your inbox, and add our email address to your trusted contacts so you receive every auction email. Can't find it? Contact the auction team below.
Place a Bid
Log in, go to the lot you want, enter your bid and accept the auction conditions. Before you confirm, the system shows any additional fees, such as VAT (EU countries only) and commission. Then click Confirm Bid.
Bid Confirmation
You'll receive a confirmation email for each bid you place. Again, check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't arrive.
Track Your Bids
Everything you've bid on is in the My Bids section of your account. If you're outbid, we'll email you and the lot will show as Outbid.
Winning a Lot
If you're the highest bidder, you'll receive an email with further instructions, and a member of the auction team will contact you to confirm your purchase and next steps.
If a bid is placed in the final five minutes before a lot closes, bidding on that lot is extended by five minutes from the time of the last bid. When no further bids are placed, bidding closes. This does not delay the closing times of the lots that follow.

Lots close one at a time, one lot every three minutes from 19:00. Each horse's page shows the time remaining before bidding on that lot closes.
