Step 1: Register to Bid

To place a bid, you must first register and create an account.
Visit the registration page and complete the online form:
https://www.monartsale.auction/register

Step 2: Activate Your Account

Once you’ve completed the registration form, you’ll need to activate your account.
An activation email will be sent to the address you used to register — be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder, as this email may not appear directly in your inbox.

To ensure you receive all future auction emails, please add our email address to your trusted contacts.

If you have difficulty locating your activation email, please contact the Auction Team for assistance.

Step 3: Placing a Bid

Once your account is activated, you’re ready to bid.

  1. Log in using the details you chose when registering.
  2. Navigate to the Lot you wish to bid on.
  3. Enter your bid amount and confirm acceptance of the auction conditions.

Before confirming, the system will highlight any additional fees such as VAT (for EU countries only) and commission.
To confirm, simply click ‘Confirm Bid’.

Note: If a bid is placed within the final five minutes before closing, the bidding period for that Lot will automatically extend by five minutes from the time of the last bid. If no further bids are placed, bidding will close. This does not delay the closing times of subsequent Lots.

Step 4: Bid Confirmation

Once you place a bid, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered address.
Please also check your Spam or Junk folders in case it does not appear in your inbox.

Step 5: Tracking Your Bids

You can easily track all your activity in the ‘My Bids’ section of your account.
Here you’ll find the most up-to-date information on your current bids and status.

If you’re outbid, you’ll be notified by email and the Lot will appear as ‘Outbid’ in your ‘My Bids’ section.

Step 6: Winning a Lot

If you are the highest bidder on a Lot, you’ll receive an email notification with further instructions.
A member of the Auction Team will also contact you following the fall of the hammer to confirm your purchase and next steps.
